Arms Around The World
I believe that an engagement shoot is a brilliant way to get comfortable in front of the camera. That is why it is included for free in my wedding packages for all of my couples. It allows you to just relax and realise that someone is just documenting you being YOU.

The main reason I like to meet with my couples before the big day (whether it's an engagement shoot or just to meet), is so that I get a feel for who you are as a couple. What's your story? How can I do you and your day justice? Do you have any ideas you would like to try out? It's your day and I am there to document it.

Natalie & John were perfect and trusted in everything I asked of them. That's all I ask. I believe it was mission accomplished with John as he wasn't too sure to start off but by the end of the session he felt more than comfortable and I dare say, had fun!

There are photographers out there who like to go into the technical depths of what makes a perfect photograph with ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed which you do need an understanding of (believe me!), however, you can't set your camera to create an expression in someones face that isn't there.
Put simply you just can't beat getting that split second of perfection in someones face when they look at their fiancee.
That split second that makes you go "Wow, now that's your story, that's love!".
